Simon Hughes MP visits Luton
Simon Hughes MP today visited Luton. Simon is the President of the Liberal Democrats and a regular visitor to the town. He visited Khidmat in Bury Park before taking a tour of the three Community Centres which have opened since the Liberal Democrats took control in 2003, in High Town, Dallow Road and Chaul End.
Simon, who was first elected to Parliament in a by-election in 1983, praised Luton Liberal Democrats for the hard work and commitment they have shown to the town, and on their significant improvements to the environment and major investment in regeneration.
“Liberal Democrats in Luton have shown that they can make a real difference in power.” he said, “They deserve to be resoundingly re-elected on May 3rd.”
