Qurban Hussain responds to the remarks made by the Bishop of Rochester
Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Luton South, Cllr Qurban Hussain was disgusted with remarks made by the Bishop of Rochester, Rt Rev Dr Michael Nazir-Ali in which he accused Muslims of creating no go areas for non-Muslim in Britain.
Cllr Hussain has written a letter to Rev. Nazir-Ali calling his remarks a total fiction and scaremongering. In the letter he has said that he has lived in Britain for more than35 years and have visited most towns and cities in the country and has never witnessed any no-go areas.
Cllr Qurban Hussain has invited Rev Nazir-Ali to get out of his church and meet the real communities like ours in Luton. He has offered him to show around any part of the town that the Bishop would like to see.
