Condolences to the family of Warrant Officer Chant.

The loss of one of our country’s brave soldiers will always be some of the hardest news we ever have to hear. The news that one of soldiers who died this week was a fellow Lutonian makes the news even harder to take in.

Warrant Officer Chant made the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our and the Afghan people’s freedom.

May I take this opportunity to express my most sincere sympathy and condolences to Warrant Officer Chant’s wife Nausheen, his children, parents and friends.

The service and dedication of our Armed Forces to our country is something we all continue to take tremendous pride in and as we focus or thoughts on Remembrance Sunday let us take time to remember Warrant Officer Chant’s family, children, friends and his colleagues and thank him for his service to our country.

Councillor Qurban Hussain.
