This evening I had the honour of lighting a candle on the Menorah to celebrate Chanukah outside of Luton Town Hall.

It was wonderful to see so many people braving the weather to join us for the occasion!

I’m sure I speak for all those present when I say that it was a pleasure to see people from many different faiths together to celebrate the occasion.

Tonight clearly demonstrated that in Luton we are a united community and proud of our diversity, tolerance and commitment towards working together.

I hope everyone enjoyed the donuts and music!
